We’ve come a long way since Xin was first released and I’ve decided to retire this theme once and for all. That said, if you need a clean, modern looking blog theme and you don’t want to empty your wallet to get one, we’ve got a great looking free option.

This is a completely modern, up to date WordPress theme that’s perfect for blogs that need a clean, minimalist style.

So, that’s a look at what Oregon brings to the table. I think it’s got a nice, clean look and it’s super user friendly, so it’s ideal for beginners to WordPress. Keep in mind, this theme is not available on WordPress.com, so you’ll have to have your own hosting account to make use of it. That said, I think it’s a pretty solid theme.
Oregon supports WooCommerce, which means it will work as an online shop template. There’s the attractive slider feature up top and three promo boxes that you can populate with your own content, if you want to use them. They’re completely optional. Oregon gives you a handful of layout options on the front page, which means there’s some flexibility to how you present your home page.
